2018 Turkish Mid-Amateur and Senior Open Tournament


The 2018 Turkish Mid-Amateur and Senior Open Tournament will take place on November 17-18, 2018 at the Kaya Palazzo Golf Club’s Course, in Antalya.

All male and female players above the age of 30, holding a valid handicap card and sporting license can participate in the tournament. Total number of participants will be capped at 72. If the number of applications exceeds this number, absolute handicap ranking shall be applied. The handicaps of female players shall be evaluated at %80 and 14 spots shall be set aside for female players. Exact Handicap Upper Limit for Application is 25,0 for men and 30,0 for women.

To complete registration to the event, clubs shall submit, in writing, the final list of participants to the Turkish Golf Federation no later than October 26, 2018 Friday, by the end of the business day. The list of players granted a spot in the tournament will be announced no later than October 29, 2018 Monday, on the web site of the Turkish Golf Federation.

Game Format
The Championship shall be played under R&A Rules Limited golf rules, the Turkish Golf Federation Golf Competition Regulation rules, and the Competition Organization Committee Local Rules, held over two days, 36 holes, full handicap. All categories shall be scored according to Stableford points system. Men will play from yellow tees, while women will play from red tees.

Categories and Exits
In the Men as well as Women divisions, competition shall take place in two categories, “A” and “B”. The category boundaries will be determined according to number of participants and handicaps and will be announced prior to the tournament. Exits shall be announced no later than November 16, 2018 on the Turkish Golf Federation web site and Kaya Palazzo Golf Club.

Men and women gross score winners 2018 Türki Accommodation: the Turkish Golf Federation has arranged for accommodation between November 16 - 18 at the Kaya Palazzo Hotel and Kaya Belek Hotel, as indicated in the price table below. All participants shall be responsible for the cost of their accommodation.
